Privacy policy

This policy covers opololearning.com, the website for Opolo Inc. The Opolo app has its own privacy notice, which every family reads before their child starts using it.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist, we collect your email address. If you choose to share your child's grade level, we keep that too, so the updates we send fit your family.
If you sign up for a pilot cohort, you fill out a separate form hosted by Google, and we receive what you enter there.
We also count visits to the site. That shows us which pages are viewed, the site that sent you here, your general location, and the kind of device and browser you use. Our analytics don't use cookies and don't identify you.
How we use it
We use your email to send updates about Opolo, and to contact you about the pilot if you signed up for it. We use visit counts to learn which pages are helpful. We never sell your information or use it for advertising.
Who else handles it
A few service providers help us run the site. Our email provider stores the waitlist and sends our emails, and our hosting provider runs the site and its visit counts. Our fonts load from Google, which receives the basic information any browser sends when it loads a page. Some links take you to other sites, like our event pages and meeting scheduler, and those sites have their own privacy policies.
Children
This site is for parents and other adults. It isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. If you think a child has shared information with us, email us and we will delete it.
Your choices
Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. To see, correct, or delete what we hold about you, email connect@opolo.ai and we will respond within 45 days.
Do Not Track
We don't use advertising trackers or follow visitors to other websites, so the site works the same way whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track signal.
How long we keep it
We keep your email until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.
Changes
When we update this policy, we change the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will email everyone on our list.
